Hello Paymattic Lovers!
We’re excited to announce something we’ve been working on for months. Paymattic’s latest version, 4.6.12, is out now. This update is mostly focused on streamlining your payment management and enhancing your customers’ experience.
This version brings four major enhancements that address some of your most requested features, including full and partial refunds, PayPal subscription cancellation, and more.
Let’s dive into what’s new!

Full and partial refund support
One of the most anticipated features is finally here!
We’ve added comprehensive refund support for Stripe, Razorpay, Paystack, and Square payment gateways. This feature comes as a direct response to countless user requests, and we’re thrilled to deliver it.
Managing refunds has never been easier. Whether you need to process a full refund or just a partial amount for a returned item, you can now handle everything directly from your Paymattic dashboard. No need to switch between different payment processor interfaces.
Paymattic has it covered with just a few clicks.
To process a full refund, go to Entries, search by the user name or email, click on View Details, click on Change Payment Status and change it to Refunded and hit Confirm.
After processing, the payment status will automatically update to refunded, confirming the full amount has been returned.

To initiate a partial refund, scroll down the same page to the transaction details. Click on Refund; a refund popup will appear. Enter the partial refund amount, select your reason for refund and click Process Refund.
That’s all you need to process a full or partial refund.

Recently applied coupon codes to reports
Understanding how your discount codes perform is crucial for your marketing strategy. That’s why we’ve added a dedicated “Recent Applied Coupons” section to your reports.
Navigate to your reports section and scroll down to find the new “Recent Applied Coupons” area. Here, you’ll get comprehensive insights into your coupon usage patterns.
You can see exactly how many customers used each coupon, and which ones are your top performers. The best part? You can click on View Details to dive deeper into any customer profiles, seeing their payment method preferences, location, device information, and more.
This isn’t just about pretty numbers on a screen. This data helps you make smarter decisions about your promotional strategies.
Maybe you’ll discover that certain coupons work better with specific customer segments, or perhaps you’ll find that mobile users respond differently to discounts than desktop users. Whatever insights you uncover, you’ll have the information you need to optimize your campaigns and boost your revenue.

“On Payment Success” integration
We’ve refined our integration system with a small but incredibly effective feature that gives you better control over customer segmentation and automation triggers.
The “On Payment Success” option ensures that integration actions only trigger after successful payments, not during pending payment states.
Practical Applications:
- FluentCRM Integration: Automatically tag customers only after successful payments, ensuring your email lists contain genuine buyers.
- Community Access: Grant access to exclusive communities or content only after payment confirmation.
- Membership Activation: Activate premium features or memberships exclusively for paying customers.
- Automated Workflows: Create more reliable automation sequences based on actual payment success.
Direct PayPal subscription cancellation
This is arguably our most exciting feature update! We’ve solved a problem that has frustrated users across the WordPress ecosystem for years.
Paymattic now allows users to cancel their PayPal subscriptions directly from the user dashboard, no more manual processes or third-party interventions are required.
Previously, canceling PayPal subscriptions meant navigating to PayPal’s dashboard and going through a complex manual process. Most plugins and third-party websites simply didn’t offer this functionality. Paymattic is changing that.
Paymattic now allows your customers to cancel their PayPal subscriptions directly from the user dashboard. No more sending customers on wild goose chases through PayPal’s interface.
No more support tickets asking, “How do I cancel my subscription?” Your customers can handle it themselves, quickly and easily.
As a merchant, you can also cancel any of your customers PayPal subscriptions using Paymattic now.
Other notable fixes
Apart from the features, we’re constantly focusing on fixing any bug reports and issues to improve the overall plugin performance.
So in this recent update, we improved Paymattic by resolving the following bugs:
- Fixes Payment summary render correctly when multiple forms are on the same page.
- Fixes Zaiper integration issue.
- Fixes notification issue on payment success.
- Fixes offline payment handling.
